These pictures show the installation of a herringbone Oak parquet flooring in a basement flat in Marylebone. Before the Oak parquet flooring could be laid it was vital to make the existing concrete floor was absolutely level. We used a self levelling compound to ensure this. Once the self Levelling Compound had dried overnight, we could commence with the laying of the Engineered Oak Parquet.

The Clients liked the warm colour of Cherry wood. They were familiar with some parquet flooring laid in a family members home in the United States, it was made from Cherry and our clients wanted to replicate the colour and feel in they’re London flat. We didn’t already produce a colour that was a close enough match so we made a new one specially for this project.
