We recently finished this project in West Ealing, the clients brief was to create a parquet finish that was contemporary yet retained all the natural characteristics of a timeless parquet floor.
After a few weeks sampling we eventually agreed on a final finish before placing the order we made a few visits to the property to agree on the parquet dimensions. The engineered parquet flowed down a narrow hallway so it was important to maximum the parquet blocks and limit the cuts required in the Hallway.
The final dimensions agreed were 21mm x 100mm x 460mm
The engineered parquet was smoked then prefinished offsite, after a 2 week curing time the floor was brought to site then fitting together in a Herringbone pattern.
